R&R Racing fairing brackets are made from 6063 aluminum unlike most others who use 6061. The reason for this is 6063 is a bit softer and more bendable. How is this better you ask, because in the event of a crash a bracket made from 6061 T6 if it takes a hit tends to break. If not when you crash, when you try to bend it back for your next race. The R&R bracket is made from a thicker tubing which makes it more than strong enough it can usually be bent back after a crash a few times before it will break.
